We reached out to our three official sponsors ““ CIG, Hytec, and PSIGEN ““ to see if they if they had anything they wanted to share with our mutual audience aligned with the dinner, charity, relationships, diversity, or any other topic that relates to themes that align with our annual awards gala. I originally envisioned taking these comments and incorporating them into a stand-alone piece underscoring the importance of these topics to our industry. However, all three sponsors independently and graciously choose to submit their comments in a manner that is in direct contextual relevancy to their partnership with us and the Awards & Charities Dinner. As such, I felt it was appropriate to let these comments stand on their own as follows, while expressively thanking them for what they had to say:
“For 35 years the Cannata dinner has served as a premier industry philanthropic and networking event that brings together industry stakeholders from all sides of the spectrum including the media, OEMS, and independent dealers. Events like this serve to galvanize the industry and create a bridge where charity and business coincide. CIG is a relatively new participant to this event and is proud to participate as it evolves to be the premier dealer based service and solutions provider in the industry while still staying true to being event focused and to giving back and good corporate citizenship. As always this is an evening imbued with class and an overriding belief in our industry; about our ability to adapt and thrive in the face of rapid change and our better angles as we help those who are most in need to realize their dreams, potential, and possibilities.”
““ Luke Goldberg, EVP, global sales and marketing, Clover Imaging Group
As sponsor for the 2nd year, it was an honor to support The Cannata Report in hosting their awards and charity dinner in 2017. It was a wonderful opportunity for our competitive industry to come together for a great cause, Hackensack University Medical Center’s John Theurer Cancer Center, while celebrating our industries achievements. We were proud to see that two of our manufacturer partners received awards, Konica Minolta and Toshiba. As we work with most of the imaging industry, we know the commitment OEMs make to support their dealer network and it is always rewarding to see that recognized. The intimate and uplifting women’s breakfast the following day provided excellent opportunities for women of the industry to share ideas, life tips and stories with each other allowing great networking opportunities for this expanding group within the industry.

“PSIGEN Software, Inc., both the company and our people, have been supporters of non-profits and charities since our inception. We all have special causes that we have dedicated ourselves to, in order to make our parts of the world better. Outside the regular business hours, it is the supporting of these groups that is at the center of what we love to do.
With their 35th anniversary event, the Cannatas, on a much larger and even more diverse scale, reminded us of those important things in life. It was wonderful to witness their ability to gather into one place, all of the technology companies that thrive in a very digital world, and have them share time laughing, shaking hands, and getting to know each other better, or even establishing new relationships. But at its’ core, this event reminded us of the most powerful reason we enjoy business and doing what we do…impacting the lives of people. To have such experiences at an event like that, and have them wrapped around such a worthy cause, made attending the Cannata dinner this year truly exceptional.”
Thanks again for some great new friendships and memories!”
