(In this ongoing series, The Cannata Report’s Editor-in-Chief Scott Cullen checks in with a different dealer each week to find out what’s going on at their dealership, what’s hot, what’s not, and whatever else is on their mind.)
In this installment of “Dealer Check-in,” we touch base with Susie Woodhull, president, Woodhull LLC in Dayton, Ohio. Woodhull LLC is a Ricoh dealer that also sells HP printers. Let’s hear what Susie has to say about what’s going on at Woodhull LLC the week of Nov. 11-15.
CR: What’s happening at Woodhull LLC this week?
Woodhull: Woodhull spent two days at the wildly successful Ohio School Board Association trade show earlier this week. Great crowd, activity, and leads. Always a plus to have existing accounts selling Woodhull to new opportunities.
CR: What segments of the business are doing well for you lately?
Woodhull: MPS and production have been active and successful for us this year. Net new account growth has been high in both of these areas.
CR: What’s going on in the industry that has you concerned?
Woodhull: Mega dealers asking manufacturers for full-line authorization for all dealers in their portfolios.
CR: What types of diversification opportunities are you looking into for the future?
Woodhull: Managed Network Services.
CR: What are your plans for the weekend?
Woodhull: I’m getting ready to leave Sunday for Ricoh’s ConvergX in Las Vegas.
