Fisher’s Technology announced that it has acquired Microchips Etc., with an office in Twin Falls, ID, on March 31.
“The Fisher’s team is honored and excited to support Microchips’ awesome clients and bring them into Fisher’s managed IT services,” said Chris Taylor, Fisher’s president and CEO. “Mark Melni hand-selected Fisher’s to carry on the Microchips’ legacy and we take that honor very seriously. We love the Magic Valley and look forward to our continued support of the community not only with our IT services but also with our copier/printer services, telephone offerings, and document management solutions.”
“I started Microchips in 1992,” said Melni. “When I came to Twin Falls, there were no computer companies that were offering 24/7 service or the ability to do so. I decided to open my own Computer company that would give the customer full service. We were extremely successful. After 30 years in business, we have decided to go in a different direction, and I am looking forward to my next adventure as an inventor! Microchips, ETC has prided itself on a desire to serve our customers on time and with the most skilled hands and minds. We have found that same desire in our friends at Fisher’s Technology. I could not leave Microchips without partnering with a company that emulates our standards. Fisher’s is an Idaho based company with the ability to perfectly handle their customers’ computing needs, and they also have the printing aspect down!”
