Our final issue of the year, which also happens to be the first issue of the new year, is bigger and better than ever. For those who receive hard copy versions of the issue, you’ll see that this is our first-ever flip cover. One side is our 2023 Watchlist issue, and the other is dedicated to our 37th Annual Awards & Charities Gala. I think you’ll enjoy browsing through the many photos in that section. Because our Gala was such a huge success, we felt it deserved special treatment, and having one side reserved for it is a fitting tribute to this amazing event.
As it does every year since Editor-in-Chief Scott Cullen joined The Cannata Report, our Watchlist highlights the trends, companies, and people we’ll be watching in 2023. But this year, Scott added a new category, the events we’ll be watching in 2023. To complement our Watchlist, the issue also features Frank’s 2023 Forecast. This popular yearly column allows Frank G. Cannata to share his predictions for the year ahead. This time, he describes it as “a year of decision for independent dealers.”
Other issue highlights include:
The Year in Supplies and Consumables –Actionable Intelligence’s Charlie Brewer discusses the highlights and the lowlights of 2022 in an interview with Editor-in-Chief Scott Cullen.
2022 Document Imaging Industry Highlights – Vendors across all industry segments share big wins from the past year.
PDF Prowess – Contributing Editor Noel Ward takes a deep dive into Crawford Technologies’ new software solution cSimpl and how it enables dealers to capture more revenues from services.
CR-Connect Dealer Tour: Frontier Business Systems Thinks Big – Scott Schnabel, the Colorado-based dealership’s new COO, shares the company’s vision for long-term growth.
Besides these features, you’ll find our latest Japanese Headlines, European Headlines, and Economics Watch columns.
But that’s not all. On the flip side, we recap the Awards & Charities Gala, with hundreds of photos of the award presentations and a who’s who of the document imaging industry in attendance. You’ll also read about our Women’s Influencers Brunch, find out the songs from 1982 we selected to play during our Gala to celebrate the year of The Cannata Report’s founding, and learn about a special auction to benefit this year’s charity.
