Following our successful 39th Annual Awards & Charities Gala, I am excited to launch our November issue, which includes Part II of our 39th Annual Dealer Survey. As with Part I, the results showcase the office technology industry’s upward mobility, which is also the theme of this year’s Survey.
In this issue, dealers rate their A3, A4, and production print vendors and leasing partners. They also identify the top four print and ECM/document management vendors and rate their OEM’s dealer meetings. Equally compelling are the top challenges identified by dealers, particularly those that now fall under the “other’ category. The wealth of information in the Survey is the number one reason to read the November issue.
In addition to Part II of our 39th Annual Dealer Survey, the nine other reasons to read the November issue include:
2. The Dawn of the New A4 Era – Contributing Editor Noel Ward acknowledges that although these devices have been available for decades, the latest features and capabilities make them just as versatile as their A3 counterparts.
3. Strategies for Selling Business Process Automation Software – Earlier this year, Contributing Writer Mark Vruno attended DocuWare’s DocuWorld partner conference, where he compiled valuable insights from a panel discussion of dealers successfully selling BPA software.
4. CR—CONNECT: 2024 Dealer Tour Boring Business Systems Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary – Scott interviews Par Sahota, president of Boring Business Systems about the company’s major milestone and how growth and capturing net new business are high on the agenda for the dealership’s second hundred years.
5. Balancing the Scales: The Changing Dynamics Between Independent Dealers and OEM Direct Branches – Comments from dealers back up what our Annual Dealer Survey tells us about the biggest challenges confronting dealers and those that are now less of an issue.
6. Breaking the Mold: Creative Recruiting Strategies – Contributing Writer Kate Gragg reveals that the office technology industry is discovering new paths to finding quality hires, from military veterans to boot camp grads.
7. Embracing Neurodiversity: A Solution to the Talent Shortage in Office Imaging and Production Print? – Contributing Editor Petra Diener has discovered that tapping into unique cognitive strengths is an innovative alternative to staying ahead in this competitive market.
Besides those features, don’t miss reasons eight, nine, and ten: the Japanese Headlines, Outside the Box, and Frank’s Veterans Way columns.
Enjoy the issue!
