Business seems to be picking up for many dealers and we thought it would be interesting to ask dealers what products and/or services categories are doing well for them, and which ones would they like to see do better. This week we speak with Chelsey Bode, president of Pearson-Kelly Technology, the subject of our June CR-CONNECT Dealer Tour.
CR: What’s hot?
Bode: What’s kind of shocking to us is that hosted voice is probably the segment that is receiving the most attention right now. A lot of companies tolerated their phone systems or company’s lack of unified communications prior to COVID, but COVID kind of made them rethink their decisions. It’s been easy for our sales team to have the conversation with the buyer because they’ve recognized how much of a disaster their phone systems or lack of unified communications is.
CR: What’s not?
Bode: The copier hardware and clicks could use a little dusting off and get back in check.
Scott: Okay, perfect. So that takes care of that. And I only have, I think one or two more questions. So if we were to talk about a year from now, where’s Pearson Kelly going to be? Besides that portion of Arkansas you’re expanding into and hitting all those numbers you’re looking to hit?
