Greetings Members and Friends, Access a PDF of the April issue and digital posts here.
If there was ever a time to diversify beyond traditional A3 technology, this is the time. Early last fall, when we scheduled our diversification-themed issue for April 2020, little did we know how dramatically the world and our industry would change. Just think how much it has changed since February!
We sympathize with those who have been impacted by this pandemic, whether from illness, loss of a family member, friend or colleague, or job loss.
We are all doing fine and remain in good health here at The Cannata Report as we continue to social distance. We appreciate the support and patience of our readers, business partners, and friends throughout the industry who continue to share their insights with Frank and myself as well as Scott and the rest of our editorial team so that we can continue to keep our printed and digital content flowing. We understand that it is no longer business as usual, and just getting through the day has become a greater challenge for many of us. Despite these challenges, we are determined to do our best to adhere as close as possible to our planned publishing schedule.
The April issue has four features and one column devoted to diversification, including our cover story, “What’s Your Intelligent Office IQ?” Whether you call it the intelligent office, the smart office, or the office of the future, OEMs have been developing an ecosystem that allows employees to collaborate and work more efficiently, whether they are located in a traditional office or working remotely. The issue also includes a feature on “Six Diversification Opportunities,” as well as articles devoted to inkjet and dye sublimation printing.
This month’s Virtual Panel Series looks into the issues surrounding and the viability of A4 technology with comments from A4 manufacturers as well as leasing company executives. As the world changes, we expect A4 devices, although not new, will command a lot more respect when we come out the other side of the pandemic.
Finally, our CR Connect: 2020 Dealer Tour series continues with a visit to Perry ProTECH’s Fort Wayne, Indiana branch. This was the last live dealer tour visit prior to the shutdown. Until it is safe to travel again, subsequent dealer tour visits will be conducted virtually.
