Last Friday we posted an article from the June 2019 issue of The Cannata Report detailing the acquisition strategies of the office technology industry’s leading acquirers. In our intro we noted that it has been a quiet year to date for acquisitions. Today, we received a press release from Gordon Flesch Company announcing a new acquisition.
The company has agreed to acquire Jim Gordon, Inc. with offices in Bloomington and Columbus, IN. Following GFC’s acquisition of Terre Haute-based IBE, this acquisition will reportedly help make GFC one of the largest office technology providers in the state of Indiana.
“JGI is known for developing great relationships with their customers and providing top-notch technology and service, all while playing a prominent role in their local communities,” says Patrick Flesch, president of GFC. “This acquisition will not only expand our geographical footprint in the state of Indiana but aligns perfectly with our company’s values. We are excited to welcome JGI into the GFC family.”
“We are proud of the legacy and culture of high-quality service we have built over the years at Jim Gordon, Inc.,” says Mark Gordon, president of JGI. “Joining the Gordon Flesch Company family is a natural fit and an exciting opportunity that allows us to continue building on that legacy.”
