Greetings Members and Friends, Access a PDF of the WatchList issue.
It is the end of the year as we know it, and we feel more than fine, especially since it is finally coming to an end. We certainly don’t want to experience another year like 2020 anytime soon.
That said, we are pleased to present our final issue of the year, our 2021 WatchList double issue featuring the trends, companies, and people we are monitoring in 2021. As our Editor-in-Chief Scott Cullen so aptly points out in the introduction to that piece, “Looking back over the past years, we aimed to be more attentive to the trends we watched while striking a balance between obvious companies and higher-profile executives across the industry with some less obvious selections to keep things fresh and interesting. Just because a company is not included on our WatchList doesn’t mean we don’t care. We absolutely do.”
I echo those sentiments. This a fairly comprehensive list, but it is not a definitive list by any means. Whether you agree or disagree with our choices, we hope it inspires discussion as any year-end list should.
This double issue is packed with additional content, including interviews with executives from NEXERA, a BEI Services Company, and Ricoh USA. This month’s CR-CONNECT-2020 Virtual Dealer Tour takes us to Cleveland, Ohio and Blue Technologies. You’ll also find a profile of Kia Robinson, an inspiring woman, who is leading Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office managed services operations. And it’s no year-end issue without Frank’s Forecast, as Frank G. Cannata offers his prognostications for 2021.
Other highlights include a deep dive into Toshiba’s StoryTeller platform, a look at how Mimaki is redefining textile printing, the consumables and supplies outlook for 2021, and insights into ramping up your managed IT business.
