The Cannata Report will host its 7th Annual Women Influencers Brunch, sponsored by esp and GreatAmerica Financial Services, on Friday, November 11, the day after its 37th Annual Awards & Charities Gala. Hosted by Carol C. Cannata, SVP, client services, and Sharon Esker, story and features editor, the brunch will celebrate The Cannata Report’s 2022 Women Influencers: Holly DeSantis, EVP and CFO, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.; Moonsun Park, CFO, SVP of finance, Sharp Electronics; and Leonie Forristal, CFO, Kyocera Document Solutions America.
The festivities will begin with a Mindful Movement class taught by Esker (RYT 500), who also wrote The Cannata Report’s July/August Women Influencers cover story. Esker serves as chief correspondent overseeing The Women Influencers and The Young Influencers’ editorial features.
Female executives who attend The Annual Awards & Charities Gala can attend the brunch, which will be held this year in The Madison Hotel’s Conservatory. Since its inception, the brunch quickly evolved into a wonderful gathering that allows guests to network and make new industry friends. It also provides a much-needed platform for women working in the independent dealer channel to share career experiences and insights. Esker will lead an informal discussion spotlighting the Women Influencers and focus on their shared experience serving as the CFO of leading OEMs. She will examine some key points in her cover story and broaden the discussion to engage all guests.
“This year’s Women Influencers are a dynamic trio of leaders with very distinct career paths. Holly, Moonsun, and Leonie were very open and candid in their interviews for our cover story. I look forward to bringing those insights into focus at the brunch,” said Esker.
“This is such a pivotal moment as we navigate the pandemic’s impact on working women,” added Esker. “Our discussion will also focus on lessons learned during the pandemic and how the experience has served to empower women going forward.”
“We are thrilled that our Women Influencers Brunch has evolved into such an important part of our Gala celebration. The Women Influencers issue is a signature editorial feature of ours, and the Brunch allows us to once again put the spotlight on the amazing female executives who are making a difference in the office technology industry, said CJ Cannata, president and CEO, The Cannata Report. “We are grateful to esp, who was instrumental in the conception of the event and has sponsored it each year, and we are delighted to welcome GreatAmerica Financial Services who joins us as a sponsor for the first time in 2022.”
