What a month! Summer is most definitely over. For most of us, summer ends after the Labor Day weekend. Once that weekend was over, the floodgates opened and the imaging industry news stories started flowing in. We saw acquisitions galore. We saw Clover Imaging Group dig deep into its financially strapped pockets and come up with just enough spare change to acquire the business assets of LMI. We saw HP acquire a startup security company. We saw Konica Minolta in Japan take a walk on the wild side by appointing its first-ever female board member. We saw EFI hire a new CFO. And we saw UBEO make three new executive hires.
Then we had the usual new product announcements, charity events, and partnerships.
But the biggest stories of the month were the acquisitions. Let’s recap who bought who.
