Rochester Software Associates announced a new release of WebCRD Web to Print software. New capabilities in this release include:
- Ensure correct pricing and specifications before orders are produced with a collaborative workflow inside WebCRD between order placers and print center staff with the new Order Review feature.
- Expand offerings by adding customized book covers and variable book sections to books in WebCRD’s Book Assembly module using two of RSA’s integrated VDP solutions, ImpactVDP (included with WebCRD) or WebCRD Dynamics.
- Automate more jobs or identify work with low or high costs for review or alternate processing using cost criteria in WebCRD’s AutoFlow automation rules engine.
- Failure alerts for external services integrated with WebCRD.
Product Management Director, Vince Tutino stated, “Customers tell us they need enhancements and features that reduce manual steps and touches and increase automation and efficiency. To meet these needs, we’ve added new functionality that makes collaboration between the shop and customers effortless inside WebCRD (without needing to communicate outside the software, such as using email) while automating more of the workflow. We’ve also made other feature enhancements that increase the shop’s services and value to their customers and parent organization.”
