Ricoh USA has introduced a new series of monochrome MFPs with A3 media handling, advanced finishing, and workflow support. The RICOH IM 7000/8000/9000 MFPs are an excellent fit for high-volume departments, schools, government agencies and major accounts requiring media flexibility, according to Ricoh. A 10” Smart Operation Panel provides an intuitive, customizable user experience for leveraging the devices’ feature set and connectivity capabilities. Mobile-device connectivity helps reduce interaction with high-traffic surfaces. At 70, 80, and 90 ppm respectively, the RICOH IM 7000, 8000 and 9000 can reportedly help drive productivity in high-volume environments.
The RICOH IM 7000, 8000, and IM 9000 can scale, adapt and upgrade to address evolving needs, thanks to RICOH Always Current Technology. Designed with today’s – and tomorrow’s – workplace challenges in mind, the IM 7000/8000/9000 are compatible with RICOH Cloud Workflow Solutions, helping improve workplace productivity. Users can digitize documents and send them in editable or searchable formats to email, local folders or cloud destinations with ease, as well as execute simplified mobile and guest printing, providing simple, intuitive onramps to digital transformation. By delivering such a strong feature set in a low-touch, safe manner, Ricoh aims to empower organizations to focus on moving forward while protecting workers.
Starting at $24,999 for the IM 7000, $30,999 for the IM 8000 and $38,999 for the IM 9000, these devices boast a variety of standard features to help print environments enhance productivity. RICOH Intelligent Support capabilities reportedly maximizes system uptime, while reduced warmup time and improved TEC values contribute to ROI. Its 2GB of RAM and 320GB Hard Disk Drive with DOSS and HDD Encryption help keep sensitive information safe while serving as an information hub. A 220-sheet single-pass document feeder (SPDF) and 4,300-shet paper supply are standard. It handles both PostScript3 and PDF Direct Print emulations, and NFC compatibility allows hands-free mobile access, contributing to worker safety in the near term and productivity and flexibility into the future.
The RICOH IM 7000/8000/9000 are ENERGY STAR certified and carry an EPEAT Gold rating. The IM 8000 and 9000 are available for order now. The IM 7000 is slated for a February launch.
