Pulse Technology announced that Brandon Cork of Broadville, IL, a major account executive with Pulse Technology, has won the “Leader of the Year” award from the Schaumburg Business Association.
The “Leader of the Year” award is given to a community leader and business champion who exemplifies qualities of visionary leadership and effective communication skills which foster strong business relationships, community involvement and achievements within the business community.
The award was presented at the Schaumburg Business Association’s “Toast of Schaumburg” event. Cork’s community involvement has included initiatives such as volunteering with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and the “Buy Local Give Local” program. His other volunteer and community activities through his career, including work with Habitat for Humanity, Illinois Action of Children, AID (Association for Individual Development) and Sojourner Truth’s House (Gary, IN).
Cork has won other awards during his career at Pulse Technology, also. He was named to the national “Difference Maker” list by the national trade journal ENX Magazine several years ago. He is a Robert Morris University graduate (bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration).
