Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the Information Technology (IT), Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, is setting a “first” in Production Print.
Pulse Technology is among the first dealers in the United States to carry this new, state-of-the-art Sharp BP-1200S printer, offering the latest advances in production print. The Sharp BP-1200S brings production print to an entirely new level. It will be the cornerstone of Pulse Technology’s new Production Center in its Schaumburg location.
Chip Miceli, CEO of Pulse Technology, said that the Sharp BP- 1200S is ideally suited for companies who do in-house marketing and printing, and also a very viable option for companies who traditionally outsource their printing but are looking for a way to keep those services in-house. It’s an ideal choice for print shops, large companies with significant printing needs, and institutions like mega-churches and schools. The Sharp BP-1200S can provide high-quality printing on many different types of stock, and unlike traditional sheet-fed printing presses, it offers “print on demand” where varying quantities can be produced cost effectively. In fact, Mr. Miceli notes, this piece of equipment will also be an asset to traditional printing shops because of its versatility.
Pulse Technology invites businesses and organizations to see for themselves firsthand the capabilities of the Sharp BP-1200S. Its features include:
- High speed printing up to 120 pages per minute even when printing in 6 colors
- Ultra-high output resolution at 2,400 x 2,400 dpi
- Capability of supporting a broad range of print media
- Industry-leading 6‑color printing technology
- Print professional full-bleed booklets and banners with versatile finishing options
- Maximum paper capacity up to 13,250 sheets.
- Time-saving purge function automatically ejects misfeeds for jam removal that is virtually hands-free.
Pulse Technology underwent extensive preparations in adding the latest member of its print fleet to the Schaumburg facility. In addition to a structural review of the flooring to be certain that it can support the considerable weight and length of the machine, there was additional electrical preparation for its setup. But, according to Mr. Miceli, it’s well worth it. “We are very pleased to have this excellent printer as part of our fleet. We look forward to the opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the Sharp BP-1200S for the business community. Please contact us to see for yourself everything that this new state-of-the-art printer can do.”
