Pulse Technology rewarded several of its 2022 top performing employees with a weeklong getaway to the Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico.
Pulse Technology President/CEO Chip Miceli said that each year the company rewards top performing employees who earn President’s Club status with a trip to a different location. In 2021 the President’s Club went to Hawks Cay, Florida. Other destinations have included Hawaii and Alaska.
Pulse Technology team members who earned this year’s President’s Club trip included Angela Perez, Jill Westberg, Nicole Miceli, Mike Bilbo, Martin Uy, Matt Leake, Paul Miceli, Nancy Mathena, Charlie Hale, William Miceli and Robin Machaj.
The Pulse employees were welcomed to Nizuc with a 5 course dinner, complete with a serenade by a mariachi band. Outdoor activities during the week included a mud madness ATV ride, a jungle tour, paddle boarding, kayaking, and speedboat rides with snorkeling opportunities. The Pulse team also had the chance to take an excursion to the Tulum Mayan ruins. At the conclusion of the week-long stay, the group was treated to a farewell dinner at the famous Harry’s Steak House.
Jill Westberg, a marketing specialist at Pulse Technology’s Merrvillville, IN location, says, “It was an amazing trip! The weather was beautiful. It was great hanging out with my co-workers outside of work and getting to know them better.” She went on to say that the ATV excursion and the speed boat/snorkel adventure topped the list of fun activities. She added, “Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation we feel for the generosity of Pulse giving us this wonderful vacation.”
Her thoughts were echoed by Angela Perez, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist at Pulse Technology’s Schaumburg, IL location. She said, “The resort had breathtaking ocean views throughout the premises, and the beaches had powder white sands.” The ATV rides, and a swim in the cenote (a natural pool of water in a sunken cave) were among her favorites. “The excursions were filled with breathtaking scenery and interaction with nature and its inhabitants. All these group events helped bond our Pulse Technology team as we got to share experiences and create memories together. I was very honored to be one of the 2022 President’s Club trip recipients. By recognizing its employees for different reasons, through achievements, going beyond expectations, building a positive work culture, or achieving milestones, Pulse Technology has succeeded in making employees feel valued and appreciated.”
Chip Miceli, CEO of Pulse Technology, said, “All of us at Pulse Technology are proud of the work that this group of employees did. We are fortunate to have a great team of people throughout our company and we are grateful for the hard work that everyone does each day to make our company a success.”
Pulse Technology recently was named on the 2022 Best Places to Work in Illinois, marketing the second consecutive year it has been selected. The awards program, which began in 2006, is sponsored by HR Source Chicago and conducted by The Daily Herald Business Ledger and Best Companies Group.
