MPS Monitor announced that one million print devices are now monitored by its Managed Print Service solution.
MPS Monitor 2.0 is currently used by approximately 2,000 dealers and Managed Services Providers located in about 60 countries. While the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform is entirely cloud-based, the data collection relies on an infrastructure of about 210,000 DCAs installed at approximately 150,000 end customers. Data is collected continuously from about 1,000,000 multi-brand print devices. These devices generate more than 30 billion pages and use about 2.5 million consumable cartridges every year.
In the lead up to this achievement, MPS Monitor recently announced that it reported a 40% year on year revenue growth in 2020. Despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, the combination of a print solution specifically engineered as a cloud-native platform along with partnerships with technology leaders – including HP, Microsoft, Okta and Asolvi – has seen the company successfully meet the rapidly evolving print needs of dealers and MPS providers worldwide, with growth in the UK, DACH, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Nordics and the United States and Canada.
The company’s achievements have also been observed by some of the industry’s leading analyst houses. In March 2021, IDC’s Vendor Analysis report stated that ‘MPS Monitor is a strategic player in the market…’ and that it provides ‘… added value to customers and channel partners alike with a robust solution that offers capabilities beyond traditional device management platforms.’ The report added that: ‘With its cloud-based architecture, vendor-agnostic approach, security focus, and direct integration with HP Inc.'s Smart Device Services (SDS) and Microsoft Universal Print (UP), MPS Monitor is uniquely positioned to help meet the evolving needs of the hybrid workforce.’
Quocirca, recently published its ‘Cloud Print Services, 2021’ report. It noted that ‘MPS Monitor 2.0 is positioned at the centre of a deeply connected ecosystem, allowing seamless integration with other cloud and on-premises platforms to increase the value of managed print services engagements, both for customers and for providers,’ and that ‘a multi-platform DCA and unique DCA clustering technology ensures continuity of data collection on all customers. For selected brands, the DCA can be installed directly on devices before shipment, or via the cloud thanks to integrations such as the HP SDS Cloud DCA.’
Commenting on its significant milestone, Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor, stated: “We are thrilled to be in a position to announce a million devices are now monitored by MPS Monitor. This achievement comes as the result of eleven years of total dedication and exclusive commitment to improving the way dealers and Managed Service Providers run their business and perform their daily operations. I wish to thank all of our team members, customers and partners who collectively have made it possible for us to achieve this impressive goal. We continue to be deeply committed to bringing innovation, efficiency and growth, to the entire Print industry.”
