Novatech announced the retirement of John Eckstrom, the former owner and CEO of Carolina Business Equipment. Eckstrom, who played a pivotal role in building CBE over the past 30 years and guiding it through its successful acquisition by Novatech last year, will retire on December 31, 2024.
Eckstrom’s journey with CBE has been marked by three decades of dedication, growth, and leadership. Joining CBE in 1994, Eckstrom led the organization to become a well-regarded technology solutions provider throughout the Southeast. Reflecting on his decision, Eckstrom shared, “It’s a bittersweet moment for me, but it feels like the right time to move forward. This next chapter allows me to spend more time with my granddaughters and pursue personal interests, including a new venture on my hunting property.
