MPS Monitor and DOT Security announced the results of their most recent penetration tests and code reviews. Conducted in November 2024, these assessments demonstrated the MPS Monitor platform’s exceptional resilience to cyber threats while reaffirming its commitment to delivering industry-leading security for customers around the globe.
With MPS Monitor’s Data Collection Agents (DCAs) installed on hundreds of thousands of customers’ networks, even minor vulnerabilities could create significant risks for customers and their Managed Print Services providers. DOT Security’s red team—an expert group well-versed in real-world hacking tactics—conducted the tests using advanced strategies to probe for potential weaknesses. The results showed that MPS Monitor’s portal applications, distributed architecture, and the surrounding infrastructure are highly secure, successfully resisting some of the most prevalent and sophisticated cyberattacks.
“We are thrilled with the testing outcome, as it reaffirms our platform’s ability to withstand evolving threats,” said Nicola De Blasi, chief strategy officer at MPS Monitor. “Security is a foundational part of our business, and our continued collaboration with Impact Networking and DOT Security helps us stay one step ahead of cybercriminals. By proactively testing and enhancing our defenses, we ensure that our customers can trust MPS Monitor to maintain the highest security standards.”
In addition to the penetration tests, DOT Security also performed a code review on MPS Monitor’s latest DCA release. The thorough examination confirmed the code was “skillfully crafted, well-documented, and securely built,” underscoring MPS Monitor’s holistic approach to cybersecurity. These proactive measures are also supported by MPS Monitor’s adherence to ISO27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and CSA STAR Level 2 standards—three of the most recognized frameworks that validate security controls and data protection best practices in SaaS / Cloud environments.
“MPS Monitor’s dedication to ongoing security testing and proactive response to potential vulnerabilities exemplify what modern SaaS companies should strive for,” said Patrick Layton, president, Managed IT Services / Partner at Impact Networking. “Our DOT Security team prides itself on helping organizations ensure their cyber defenses are ready for real-world threats, and MPS Monitor continues to exceed expectations in every assessment.”
