MCS has announced the sale of its Konica Minolta dealership to Production Print Solutions (formerly MCS Services, Inc.). This was a strategic decision that allows MCS to focus on its core mail manufacturing equipment solutions, including industrial inkjet systems, industrial tracking systems and high-speed inserting systems.
After more than 15 years in the business, Production Print Solutions is the ideal fit, according to a MCS press release. Production Print Solutions is the largest third-party maintenance provider for Océ printers and a large service provider for Konica Minolta equipment. Adding the vertical integration of sales of Konica Minolta printers to its existing Canon sales and service relationship will reportedly enhance its position in the market and strengthen the relationship with its customer base.
