Pulse Technology named Marc Shapiro of Bartlett, IL to the position of IT sales executive.
In this role, he will work with existing and new clients from the company’s Schaumburg , IL headquarters, helping with their existing IT environments and providing additional solutions where advisable.
Shapiro brings 20 years’ experience working in technology; for most of that time, he was with AT&T in the Chicago area, and worked with some of the company’s largest clients helping with cybersecurity issues, document storage, fleet management, and more. His work included setting up networks for some large corporations including Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Walgreens and others. He also worked at Sprint for a year and a half prior to his time with AT&T and a regional carrier before that.
He holds multiple industry certifications in Cybersecurity and networking.
Shapiro enjoys spending time with his family outside of work. He has coached his son Carson’s Little League Baseball teams and is a “Dance Dad” who supports his daughter Rory’s dancing lessons. He lives in Bartlett with his wife Monica and their two children.
