Manic Monday: News Highlights November 21-25

Thanksgiving week is always a slow news week, and this week’s episode of The Cannata Report’s Manic Monday reflects how the document imaging industry has taken a break to celebrate Thanksgiving. Even though it is short and sweet, here’s our rapid recap of document imaging industry news from November 21-25.

Patrick Flesch, president of Gordon Flesch Company was unanimously elected at the recent Board of Directors meeting as the company’s new CEO. He will now carry the dual title of president and CEO.

Komori America Corporation announced that Komori America and MBO America showed the industry their combined single-source printing and finishing solutions from a common booth at PRINTING United last month. 

Square 9 Softworks announced the latest release of its GlobalSearch Enterprise Content Management Solution. GlobalSearch’s Fall 2022 release includes several new features designed to further simplify document-related tasks, provide a seamless user experience, and allow for better customization without advanced technical expertise.

PRINTING United Alliance announced that nine industry notables have been inducted into its Ben Franklin Honor Society (BFHS). The inductees were welcomed in a private virtual ceremony on Nov. 17.

DocuWare introduced iPaaS connectors to its portfolio. iPaaS is the commonly used term for Integration Platform as a Service. The cloud or web-based platform allows businesses to connect their applications to their DMS solution. Once integrated, data can be shared seamlessly and securely across these applications.
