Lexmark has announced it has been named to the 2020 CIO 100 list by IDG Communications. The award honors Lexmark’s digital transformation project, known as Global Optimization 365.
Lexmark replaced the productivity, communications and collaboration software used daily by 8,900 employees in 170 countries. “The project resulted in a fundamental shift in how Lexmark operates,” said Brad Clay, Lexmark senior vice president and chief information and compliance officer. “At its core, we transformed the way we work so that Lexmark can deliver better experiences for our partners and customers. With seamless systems, analytics and business process transparency, we are positioned as an agile, innovative market leader.”
The annual CIO 100 Awards celebrate 100 organizations and the teams within them that are using IT in innovative ways to deliver business value, whether by creating competitive advantage, optimizing business processes, enabling growth or improving relationships with customers. The award is an acknowledged mark of enterprise excellence.
“Today’s most successful companies are using IT to deliver business value, whether by enabling growth, optimizing business processes, or improving relationships with customers,” said Adam Dennison, publisher, CIO, and senior vice president and general manager, IDG Events. “We are honored to showcase the technology innovation shown by this year’s CIO 100 winners and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at the CIO 100 Symposium and Awards Ceremony in August.”
