MPS Monitor announced that Keypoint Intelligence has performed an assessment of MPS Monitor’s security methodology as well as its platform’s security policies and procedures. Findings of this analysis have been published in a whitepaper entitled Managed Print Services Platform Security. Reporting positively on the measures that MPS Monitor has implemented to keep customers’ devices and their data secure, the document validates the security claims made by MPS Monitor.
Of particular note, Keypoint Intelligence’s analysis concluded that MPS Monitor proved to be able to maintain customer devices in a secure posture through proactive and automated management of key device settings, and that it provides a tested DCA technology that fulfills its customers’ security requirements.
Furthermore, it was satisfied that MPS Monitor’s platform runs on a proven and secure cloud infrastructure, that benefits from continuous security testing and auditing from specialised security teams. It also recognised that MPS Monitor has in place a full and comprehensive set of policies and procedures that meets the requirement for industry-standard security certifications. It also stated that MPS Monitor went ‘the extra mile’ to ensure its platform is certified as compliant to stringent international security standards like ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2.
Commenting on the findings of the whitepaper, Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor, commented: “From small businesses through to larger enterprises and across all public sector organisations, security is priority number one. The financial cost and reputational damage suffered during a security breach can be immense. However, print is often overlooked a as target for cyber criminals intent on looking to gain access to the network. At MPS Monitor, we’re acutely aware of this risk, which is why we have gone above and beyond meeting the required industry standards for security, to create an MPS platform that excels in its security capabilities, thereby protecting dealers and their customers from introducing additional risks into their environments. That’s why we are thrilled that our efforts have been recognised by Keypoint Intelligence, given the completeness of its vigourous testing procedures which have made it a highly respected authority on this subject.”
Jamie Bsales, director of Solutions, Security & Smart Workplace Analysis at Keypoint Intelligence, added: “Analysing security claims made by vendors about their services or solutions is important for giving customers and end users peace of mind on a matter that is vital for their business. In MPS Monitor’s case, we are impressed by its commitment to engineering a platform that truly embraces a holistic – and thorough – approach to security. It satisfies our requirements that the company’s security approach, methodology, and main procedures it applies, provides robust and industry leading security for its users.”
