Stramaglio Consulting announced that Maurice Allen, a professional golfer and record breaking professional long drive competitor, has joined The Consortium, a think tank for the Imaging Channel, consisting of a group of industry leaders that aims to help the channel grow and thrive. The Consortium’s focus is to help improve business agility for the channel and workplaces through the channel.
Among his great accomplishments including two-time World #1 ranked in long drive in 2017 and 2019, Maurice is the only person who hit a golf ball across Niagara Falls. After an extremely successful career in long drive, Maurice has decided to expand his reach. He is actively pursuing the pathway to play on the PGA Tour, starting with Latin American PGA Q school. In addition to his golf pursuits, Maurice serves as a compelling motivational leader, regularly booking speaking engagements.
“I am so pleased and honored to be part of The Consortium,” says Maurice Allen. “I believe in leaving myself open to the possibility of life by giving my best effort in everything that I do. I clearly see tremendous opportunities to expand my connections with great leaders in The Consortium and wish I could make a positive impact on all the members in this wonderful group of people.”
The Consortium is assembled by Mike Stramaglio, President and CEO of Stramaglio Consulting, in order to establish an open collaborative platform that enables the Imaging Channel to embrace and lead Digital Transformation (DX).
“It is my great pleasure to welcome such a great personality like Maurice to The Consortium,” says Mike Stramaglio. “Maurice has earned great success in the business community and as a world champion golfer! You will be hearing a lot more about Maurice because of his golfing success to date as well as his campaign on the tour. I admire his athletic skills to be sure but his business skills, speaking skills and his commitment to service and community are extraordinary.”
