Fiery announced it was recognized with three prestigious PRINTING United Alliance 2023 Pinnacle Product Awards. This includes awards in the non-output category for Fiery’s Duplo integration automating job preparation and finisher setup, Fiery Digital Factory v11 driving direct-to-film devices, and the upcoming release of Fiery Command WorkStation 7.0 unifying print job management. The winning products will be showcased in the Fiery booth, C2646 at PRINTING United in Atlanta, GA from Oct. 18-20.
“We are thrilled to have captured three coveted Pinnacle Awards, making Fiery the most decorated DFE and workflow automation company,” said Toby Weiss, Fiery’s CEO. “With Fiery, customers can feel confident that they have the most innovative, productive, and sustainable DFE and workflow products to meet their needs and improve output.”
Fiery is known for exceptional digital front end (DFE) and workflow solutions that help drive the industry forward. Fiery’s three Pinnacle Awards include:
Fiery Command WorkStation 7. Print providers can unify their print room using one central job management solution that transcends printer brands and models. With Fiery Command WorkStation, printers can seamlessly connect to all Fiery driven cutsheet, large format, or high-speed inkjet printers to automate and consolidate print production processes. This unparalleled integration allows businesses to choose the best printers available in the industry now and in the future. The new Fiery Command WorkStation 7 incorporates added features around scheduling, cloud applications, and job presets to simplify and automate the job submission process. Available for free to Fiery users worldwide, Fiery Command WorkStation 7 is set to launch in October 2023.
Fiery Impose integration with Duplo DC-648. Simplify the prepress to post-press setup for high-value jobs that require customized finishing with Fiery Impose, a PDF imposition software, that seamlessly integrates with Duplo’s latest mid-range DC-648 slitter/cutter/creaser finisher. This groundbreaking collaboration automates the job preparation process, helping operators reduce setup time by up to 80%. In addition, Fiery Impose supports the DC-648’s unique ability to finish a job with up to 20 mountain (up) and 20 valley (down) creases in a single pass, totalling an impressive 40 creases.
Fiery Digital Factory v11. Optimizes output quality for personalization, customization, and specialty print products using Fiery Digital Factory v11, formerly CADlink Digital Factory, a software RIP and workflow. Driving virtually all direct-to-film or direct-to-garment, sublimation, UV, toner transfer, and wide format print and cut devices, Digital Factory offers powerful production management tools and color profiles to achieve stunning color reproduction and accuracy, on the widest variety of substrates. This latest release adds Fiery’s Single Pass Highlight White Underbase feature for boosted white ink, creating brighter whites and increasing color vibrancy in a single pass.
The Pinnacle Product Award evaluates products that will be available for sale in 2023. A highly qualified panel of judges from across the printing industry evaluated the annual contest’s 160+ entries in more than 58 categories spanning analog, digital, output, and non-output technologies.
“One of the things I like best about our competition is that it is juried, and judges are basing their decisions on objective criteria. And with outstanding entries like those submitted by Fiery in the non-output category, they had their work cut out for them,” said Dawn Nye, Program Manager Pinnacle Awards, PRINTING United Alliance.
