Epson America has introduced the DS-70 and DS-80W portable document scanners. The Epson DS-70 scans a single page in as fast as 5.5 seconds, according to Epson.
Completely powered by battery or USB, the DS-80W scanner can automatically detect connectivity and switches between USB and battery-powered wireless without any user intervention. The DS-80W allows users to scan critical documents to a PC, Mac, iOS, or Android device. Also, equipped with a convenient LCD screen, the DS-80W displays wireless status, as well as battery level.

These mobile scanners accommodate documents up to 8.5″ x 72” and can also handle smaller sized business/ID cards and receipts. With the included OCR and powerful Document Capture software, users can scan, store and share important documents, as well as create editable text and searchable PDFs.
