DocuWare shared the results of the financial year ending March 31, 2022 along with its growth plans to meet demand for digital transformation that remote work has propelled.
That DocuWare is already experiencing the results of the increased demand for Enterprise Content Management systems is evident from its customer and revenue growth numbers: The company’s revenue increased by 24.7 percent from April 2021 to March 2022, while new customer growth for the same period has increased by 34.8 percent, accounting for over 3,113 new customers. Cloud revenue has grown by 50.5 percent with On-Premises revenue increasing by 11.2 percent. DocuWare closed the last fiscal year with over 6,500 global cloud customers. Some of these new cloud customers include Travelex in Australia, Bidvest Group – Bidvest Electrical, in South Africa and Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. and SunStream Hotels & Resorts in the US, along with other major brands throughout the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region.
With the way cloud technologies have revolutionized business processes, forward-thinking business leaders in all markets are more open than ever before to adoption. Ease of implementation, with little input from IT departments, along with the secure, stable environment that the cloud guarantees, have contributed to the speed of digital transformations around the world and also in APAC – DocuWare expects this to continue.
To meet the increasing demands of a fast-growing global customer base, DocuWare has opened a new data center for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Up until now, the company ran three separate data centers located in Europe, the US and Japan. The addition of this fourth location in Australia will allow it to effectively cater to both the storage and compliance needs of its APAC customer base.
“Over the last 2 years, we’ve seen an overall growth of 33 percent in customers from this [APAC] region,” says Dr. Michael Berger, DocuWare president. “Cloud momentum is building and enterprises of all sizes are leveraging intelligent technologies to automate processes. We want to provide our customers with the digital tools and cloud capabilities they need in a competitive business environment,” concludes Dr. Berger.
