Crawford Technologies announced the release of version 5.4 of the company’s Digital Transform Engine (DTE). DTE is the core engine used in Crawford Technologies’ award-winning solutions and this latest version continues Crawford Technologies’ focus on simplifying the user experience and streamlining the production of customer communications. Major enhancements in DTE 5.4 are designed to significantly accelerate the creation and delivery of customer communications.
Among the enhancements offered in DTE 5.4 is the introduction of Crawford Technologies’ automated customer communications onboarding tool kit, SmartSetup, powered by the AutoSense technology utilized in the company’s AccessibilityNow and eDeliveryNow platforms. SmartSetup is a no-code, AI-enabled software solution designed to fully automate the time-consuming task of indexing, allowing business users to perform indexing with the push of a button and quickly verify that it is done correctly. This reduces the cost and time needed by over 90%, resulting in significant savings. Crawford Technologies predicts SmartSetup will be a game changer in the industry due to its unique technology, which makes it easier for organizations to onboard customer communications to their document factories and hastens digital transformation efforts.
Other enhancements in DTE 5.4 include:
- PRO Designer and AccessibilityNow Designer enhancements to further streamline and simplify document re-engineering tasks, including for accessible communications
- Enhanced support utilizing Page-Piece Dictionaries (PPD) when processing and managing PDF files for archiving and reprinting
- New advanced PRO PDF capabilities to support generating Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) compliant accessible PDF and PDF/UA output
- Numerous enhancements and improvements to Crawford Technologies’ document transformation technology, re-engineering technology and workflow solutions
