Canon U.S.A., Inc. announced the release of uniFLOW Online 2021.3. The new version contains updated features to help boost productivity and enhance the end-user experience.
Among the new features is the ability to centrally manage uniFLOW Online users via Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Information technology administrators are now able to automatically synchronize users, attributes, and identities instead of managing users across multiple systems.
With previous versions of uniFLOW Online, users have been able to scan to many compatible cloud destinations. Also, uniFLOW Online 2021.3 now allows users to scan directly to local, on-premise network folders – adding to the flexibility of the solution by enabling use with local file storage systems. Users can also scan directly to a dedicated folder on their desktop.
Design improvements for the device user interface provide the ability to customize the screen for image login, multi-factor authentication, and cost center selection. The design updates also allow for customization for budget control (for copy jobs), display-language configuration, QR-code for mobile release, direct Secure Print, auto-release functionality, device policies, and emergency access.
For existing uniFLOW Online customers, the new version is available via automatic update to the device. For new customers, uniFLOW Online device-based subscriptions are available through Canon Solutions America and Canon Authorized Dealers.
“We are excited to be closing out the 2021 release schedule of uniFLOW Online with such strong enhancements and look forward to continued updates throughout 2022,” said Shinichi Yoshida, executive vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A. Inc. “These updates to uniFLOW Online further strengthen this already powerful cloud print and scan management solution.”
