Canon Inc. announces that its Production Print Group’s varioPRESS iV7 (below) and the varioPRINT iX1700 (shown above) digital sheetfed inkjet printing presses are among 11 products awarded with the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 by iF International Forum Design GmbH.
In recent years, the OEM’s design team has been developing a new design language for its upcoming printers. The varioPRESS iV7 and the varioPRINT iX1700 (which was designed in collaboration with Canon Inc.) are the first to showcase this innovative design. The team has successfully brought simplicity and ease of use to the high-tech printing industry, known for its complexity. The iX1700 model excels with a high speed of up to 170 A4 images per minute (ipm) or 73 B3 ipm. The iV7 can run up to 8,700 B2 (four over zero) sheets per hour.
