Access Control Devices, Inc. introduced EZ Meter as part of its product portfolio.
Developed by The Lioce Group, EZ Meter is a software solution that allows users to collect fleet management data, including supplies and print counts, from a USB printer and send it to data collection software such as KPAX.
“Our mission at ACDI is to provide impactful solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity across the channel, and we’re excited to announce the addition of EZ Meter to our portfolio,” said David Brown, senior product manager at ACDI. “The Lioce Group’s hard work and innovative thinking now provides resellers a powerful new solution that for the first time, allows USB connected printers and MFPs to be discovered and proactively managed.”
The EZ Meter software was written and created by The Lioce Group as a means to optimize printer fleet management by incorporating USB devices without a Wi-Fi connection that would not be included in the same network as other printers and multi-function devices. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, The Lioce Group is dedicated to providing the tools and guidance to help its customers become more efficient and profitable.
“Our team worked diligently to create a new solution to an old but persistent problem, and now we’re proud to partner with ACDI to bring EZ Meter to the market,” said Nick Lioce, president of The Lioce Group. “For more than 50 years, our business has been committed to providing technology solutions that help our customers automate and succeed, and the development of EZ Meter was no exception.”
The introduction of EZ Meter reinforces the KPAX fleet management solution for ACDI’s authorized reseller network, providing MFP and USB device information regardless of the number of sites, the number of customers, or the number of machines.
Other products in the ACDI portfolio include PaperCut, Scanshare, Intuitive, Elatec, RF Ideas, and EV charging solutions from ACDI Energy Services.
