The Business Technology Association (BTA) will host the 2025 BTA National Conference June 17-19 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a welcoming reception with tethered hot-air balloon rides on the evening of June 17; two compelling keynote addresses; two main-stage educational sessions presented by industry leaders; a dealer panel on thriving amidst disruption; three breakout sessions; plenty of time for dealer attendees to network with fellow dealers and exhibitors; a rodeo and food trucks on the evening of June 18; and an optional round of golf at the Twin Warriors Golf Club on the afternoon of June 19.
The national conference will start on a high note on the evening of Tuesday, June 17, with an opening reception featuring tethered hot-air balloon rides, drinks and appetizers. The educational portion of the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the first keynote address by Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, speaker and entrepreneur Emmitt Smith. His keynote, “Lessons From the Gridiron: Emmitt Smith on Leadership & Success,” will be an onstage “fireside chat” with Mike Marusic, president and CEO of Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. During their discussion, Smith will discuss adapting to change, overcoming obstacles, achieving goals, effective leadership and the importance of teamwork while highlighting his journey as a football player, business owner and “Dancing with the Stars” champion. After the keynote, there will be time for dealer attendees to visit with exhibitors and network with fellow dealers, followed by the first round of breakouts. Attendees can choose to take part in one of three breakout sessions:
- “Beyond the Traditional: Expanding Strategies for Evolving Sales Organizations,” presented by John Dunkelberger of Ricoh USA Inc.
- “Sell Smarter, Not Harder: Focusing on Business Impact in Tech Sales,” presented by Samuel Mascato of Sandler
- “Your Go-to-Market Plan: The Key to Strategic Revenue Growth,” presented by Dominic Pontrelli of Pontrelli Marketing
After the breakouts, lunch will be held, followed by the second keynote address, “Xerox’s Reinvention: Pioneering a New Growth Chapter,” presented by John Bruno, president & COO of Xerox Corp. In his keynote, Bruno will share how Xerox is expanding beyond traditional print, investing in cutting-edge technologies and creating pathways for shared success with its dealer partners. After the keynote, another break with exhibitors will be held, followed by another round of the breakout sessions.
To wrap up the first day of education, BTA General Counsel Greg Goldberg will moderate the dealer panel, “Thriving Amidst Disruption: How Dealers Are Navigating Industry Shifts.” The panelists will include Tim Seeley Jr. of Seeley Office Systems Inc., Glens Falls, New York; Ken Staubitz of Modern Office Methods (MOM), Cincinnati, Ohio; and Chris Wolowitz of Shore Business Solutions, Wall, New Jersey.
That night, from 6 to 9 p.m., attendees will enjoy a true Wild West experience — an evening of fun, food and frontier spirit with a rodeo and food trucks at the Stables at Tamaya.
The final day of the conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, with breakfast, followed by exhibit time and the fourth main-stage session, “Expanding Into Vertical Markets: Unlocking Growth With Tailored Solutions,” presented by Anne Valaitis of Keypoint Intelligence. Another break with exhibitors will follow. Jocelyn Gorman of Document Solutions Inc.
