The Cannata Report will celebrate the resiliency of the independent dealer channel of the office technology industry with its 36th Anniversary Awards & Charities Gala on November 4, 2021, at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. This year’s Gala will be unlike any other in the history of the event. The theme says it all: Start Me Up.
Sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services and ConnectWise, the 36th Anniversary Gala will once again pay tribute to dealers and acknowledge excellence in the channel. Winners of the Frank Awards, as determined by The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey, will be announced, and a special honor is also planned with details released at a later date.
“Things are starting back up again, and the industry is buzzing. Our Gala will top off the resurgence of activity taking place in the channel. Two years ago, we spotlighted the “Elevation” of the channel, and last year we gathered to “Unite and Conquer.” “Start Me Up” in 2021 will revel in the successful adaptation of new technologies, the diversification opportunities born from the pandemic, and a reinvigorated business landscape,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO of The Cannata Report.
For the sixth year in a row, the Gala will benefit Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation. This year, The Cannata Report will raise funds to support research conducted at Hackensack Meridian John Theurer Cancer Center by Rachel Rosenstein, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Rosenstein is conducting analyses of chronic Graft-Versus-Host disease (cGVHD), a condition that may occur after an allogeneic bone marrow transplant. To date, The Cannata Report has raised more than $1.1 million through its Annual Awards & Charities Gala for Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation.
Start Me Up will be celebrated at the Gala’s official After Party held immediately following the gala and at the 7th Annual Women Influencers Brunch—sponsored by ESP—on November 5. The Brunch celebrates the leading female executives featured in The Cannata Report’s Women Influencers issue (July/August 2021).
