The Cannata Group LLC will require all our guests at The Cannata Report’s 36th Anniversary Awards & Charities Gala on November 4, 2021, to be fully vaccinated, and we will ask that each guest provide proof of vaccination.
We feel that this is the best policy for us. Our number one priority is the health and well-being of our guests and staff. This policy is in alignment with current indoor vaccination mandates in New York City–and for guests who attend fund-raising events hosted by renowned long-time Cannata Gala beneficiary, Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.
Our management has privately reached out to dealers presenting awards, sponsors, partners, and other thought leaders prior to making an official announcement. An overwhelming majority of those we spoke with were emphatically supportive, and we cannot underscore our appreciation enough.
“We would rather make a proactive decision now and mitigate the possibility of having to make a reactive decision later,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO, The Cannata Group LLC/ The Cannata Report. “Having not been able to host an in-person Cannata Gala last year, we are committed to this year’s live event—and to making it the best ever. The most effective way for us to decisively move forward is to announce this policy now so that everyone can make their plans accordingly.”
The Cannata Report’s annual Gala has always been a unifying event where competitors put aside business and come together to celebrate the industry, each other, and the annual charities we promote. We are confident that will remain the essence of this year’s event, perhaps more than ever before.
All of us at The Cannata Report can’t wait to welcome our guests in November. In the coming days, we will announce the names of the many dealer notables who will join us as presenters during the Frank Awards ceremony at the Gala.
