On November 10, 2022, The Cannata Report will shake it up when it celebrates its 37th Annual Awards & Charities Gala at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey. It’s an event not to be missed, drawing attendees from all corners of the office technology industry.
The event is sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services and ConnectWise, and in addition to the presentation of our annual awards will raise funds to create the Marie Cusumano Endowed Scholarship at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Beginning in the spring of 2024, a scholarship will be awarded to a student selected by the school’s academic board. The scholarship is in memory of The Cannata Report Founder Frank G. Cannata’s late sister. To date, The Cannata Report has raised $1.3 million for endeavors funded by Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation.
This year’s theme, Shake It Up, celebrates the dealers, vendors, and OEMs embracing new opportunities, investigating new avenues of diversification, and initiating fresh innovations. “Shaking things up is vital to the industry’s evolution, and we want to celebrate how it empowers new growth and expansion throughout the channel,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO of The Cannata Report.
The winners of the Frank Awards, as determined by The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey, will also be announced that evening. The recipient of the Frank G. Cannata Philanthropy Award, established last year in honor of its founder, will also be presented. The Cannata Report will also honor a member of the office technology industry for his service to his country and fellow veterans with our Veterans Award.
The festivities continue the following morning when The Cannata Report hosts its 7th Annual Women Influencers Brunch to celebrate The Cannata Report’s 2022 Women Influencers: Holly DeSantis, EVP and CFO, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.; Leonie Forristal, CFO, Kyocera Document Solutions USA; and Moonsun Park, SVP Finance and CFO, Sharp Electronics Corporation. This popular event is open to all women who attend the Gala.
