Flex Technology Group (FTG) hosted its annual Kick-Off meeting and awards show this past week at the Herberger Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
Over the last three years, FTG has grown to eleven companies. The FTG Chairman’s Award was introduced at this year’s kick-off to recognize the highest performing company.
“There was one company that stood out above some tough competition within FTG. While their financial performance is impressive, it is gratifying to see the engagement of team members in making the transition to FTG highly successful, by leveraging all the resources available,” said Frank Gaspari, CEO of FTG. “John Byxbee and the team at Flo-Tech grew their business by over 10% and improved on their customer satisfaction, driving a net promoter score of 91. Congratulations to Flo-Tech.”
Flo-Tech has been named the 2018 recipient of the FTG Chairman’s Award and will be the first to showcase the celebrated Tiffany’s cup at their corporate headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut.

This recognition amongst the strong group within FTG means a tremendous amount to all of us,” stated President of Flo-Tech, John Byxbee. “I knew as soon as we joined FTG, we’d get two things: best practices and the capital to invest in our business. What I didn’t expect was how strong the resources were at FTG and the impact they have on our business. We certainly wouldn’t have been able to do it without the FTG support platform, so thank you very much.”
Honorable mentions also went out to Laser Options, Caltronics, and FlexPrint for performances in 2018.
