Coordinated Business Systems, has been named one of the 2021 Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. This is the third year in a row that Coordinated has received this recognition.
“I am grateful that our company has again been honored with a Top Workplace award,” said Jim Oricchio, founder and CEO of Coordinated Business Systems. “For nearly 40 years our focus has been to create a work situation where each team member can be successful. This is accomplished by investing in their future through ongoing training, offering career growth opportunities, and providing a flexible work environment.”
Produced by the same team that compiles the 30-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 76,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.
The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely based on employee responses.
Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
Oricchio added, “I believe the core reasons that Coordinated Business Systems is seen as a Top Workplace comes from treating team members like family, communicating authentic interest in their work/life balance, and expressing respect for their contributions to Coordinated’s success.” Oricchio concluded, “The result is low employee turnover and longevity of employment. Our customers benefit because they are supported by a synergistic team that is familiar with each customer’s unique situation, so all issues are quickly handled, and our customers feel respected and special.”
