Applied Innovation will host its Fourth Annual Casino Royale fundraiser on September 21, 2022, to benefit Children’s Healing Center, a non-profit organization assisting children with weakened immune systems in Grand Rapids. Last year, the event raised $28,220, and this year the goal is to surpass that number.
“This event was an idea that was brought to us years ago… it’s a great way to spend time with our clients and employees while supporting something that is so important to the community,” said John Lowery, president and CEO of Applied Innovation. “Children’s Healing Center provides tremendous services for kids in need, and that’s why we continue to host this fundraiser. It’s just a good thing.”
As the nation’s first year-round recreation center where kids with weak immune systems can play in a safe space, Children’s Healing Center provides a wide range of programs that emphasize research-based play, socialization, and learning. They have one goal in mind: provide a place for all families to experience the healing power of play, friendships, and belonging. The center is open to any child from birth to 26 years old who is immune-compromised and their family.
“We are proud to join Applied Innovation for the 4th Annual Casino Royale fundraiser. Not only are they a valued vendor partner, but they are also a steadfast supporter of our mission,” said Melissa Block, director of growth & development at CHC. “Thanks to this event, and the generosity of the Applied Innovation family, even more families who have a child with a weak immune system have opportunities for fun, friendships, and community in our safe and clean environment.”
Casino Royale will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Applied Innovation’s headquarters at 5555 Glenwood Hills Parkway SE, Grand Rapids, MI. The event will include popular casino games like blackjack, craps, roulette, and Texas hold ‘em, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and the chance to win big with prizes like Keith Urban concert tickets, Rove Winery VIP Experience, Red Wings tickets, and more. All proceeds will be donated to Children’s Healing Center.
