Taking a look back on our four previous Women Influencers issues, The Cannata Report has featured 12 senior women executives in this editorial franchise’s annual anchor issue. With sincere gratitude to AMETEK ESP’s support, we have been able to expand the franchise to include quarterly departments featuring additional Women Influencers, giving us the opportunity to highlight even more women in our industry. In addition to the 12 women featured on the covers of Women Influencers themed issues, we have featured eight industry professionals from divergent segments on a quarterly basis for the past two years.
With an enthusiastic reception from our readers and sponsors, we expanded the Women Influencers franchise to include an event, our Women Influencers Brunch, which is now entering its third year and is scheduled Friday, November 9, following our 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner on Thursday, November 8. Since its inception, we have hosted many of the industry’s most influential women in the manufacturer and leasing segments. We have also welcomed many women representing the software, services, and supplies segments of the business. Our brunch has drawn key dealer influencers, including CR Advisory Board Member, Deb Dellaposta, president and CEO of Doing Better Business, based in Pennsylvania and Dawn Abbuhl, president of New York-based Repeat Office Systems. This year, we are proud to feature cover subject Mary Jo Johnson, owner and CEO of Wisconsin-based EO Johnson Business Technologies, in addition to the two other women featured in this issue’s cover story.
In celebration of the Women Influencers franchise’s fifth anniversary, we are pleased to present some highlights from past issues, including photos and quotes from all of our Women Influencers from when they were originally featured. Collectively, we believe this retrospective underscores the essential roles women are playing with regard to our industry’s success.
