We are officially in overdrive! Later this month, we’ll launch our 34th Annual Dealer Survey, sponsored by TIAA Bank for the sixth consecutive year and we encourage ALL dealers to take part and make your voice be heard. Our blind analysis provides essential intelligence for everyone in the industry, especially the OEMs that rely on our survey year after year. And don’t forget, taking the survey allows you to cast your vote to determine winners of the prestigious Frank Awards bestowed at our Annual Awards & Charities Dinner held in November.
Look for our “Dealer of the Future” issue next month that we’re thrilled to announce was so well received last year we’ve decided to feature it as an annual issue. We’ve also revamped our themes for April (Inkjet) and May (Service & Services) to provide a deep dive into increasingly essential areas of focus for dealers today.
We’re busy mapping out the stops for CR CONNECT (previously branded as CR LIVE), The Cannata Report’ 2019 Dealer Tour, sponsored by new partner LEAF Commercial Capital. We kicked our tour off with a trip to Northern California to visit with Greg Martin and Chris Scarff at Ray Morgan Company, and with Gary Johnson, Eric McIntosh, and Jill Jurevich at WiZiK Technology Group. Our bags are packed for a trip to Arizona to visit Frank Gaspari at FlexPrint Technology, and then to see Gary Willert at LMI Solutions. Our goal this year is to provide in-depth profiles of dealers across the board while showcasing the unique business strategies that propelled each to success.
Our road trips don’t stop there as we’re booked to attend Konica Minolta’s 2019 Dealer Meeting in Newport Beach, California, this month, HP Reinvent (a first for us) in Houston in March, and Kyocera’s FY20 Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas in April.
One final note: We’re looking forward to hosting our annual Elite Partner dinner at our favorite NYC hangout, Tiro a Segno, on May 2nd.
See you on the road.
