Things have changed at The Cannata Report. Maybe you haven’t noticed, but we are transforming into more than just a print publication.
If you are only reading our print publication, allow me to introduce you to our digital content.
Fresh original content is published every day on our website, in addition to the latest industry news. None of that is available in our print publication, so you’ll lose if you snooze digitally.
We now post more videos on our website, as well as on our YouTube channel. One of our more popular video series is “Fridays with Frank,” where Frank G. Cannata offers his two cents about a host of industry-related issues every Friday morning. Another new segment is “On the Record” with CJ and me. Here, we riff about industry goings-on and wrap things up with our latest music recommendations. Think of this segment as mixing business with pleasure.
As we ramp up our online content, we plan to introduce more short video series in the weeks and months ahead. One new video segment will be “What’s Hot and What’s Not?” In this segment, we learn what segments of the business or products are selling well for different dealers across the country and what are not.
Over the coming months, look for these new features and more on our website. Our intent is to be more timely and connect and engage more often with our readers in new and surprising ways.
It’s time for all of us to think beyond hard copy, and we encourage our print readers to do the same when it comes to consuming and interacting with The Cannata Report’s content. Just don’t wait for that print issue to arrive in the mail because if you do, you are missing out!
Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t reference our cover story, “Spotlight on HP’s Amplify,” and Frank G. Cannata’s Frankly Speaking column on the Amplify program. We’ve heard from dealers who are concerned about different aspects of this program. My cover article examines the issues and provides clarifications from HP on many of the trigger points for dealers while Frank shares his opinion on the program’s effect on the independent dealer channel.
