Being in Southern California always makes me happy and this August I had a chance to visit with our creative advisor Dave Noll on the Hollywood set of Punchline, his comedy game show on Fox. Noll is also the creator of Chopped, everyone’s favorite Food Network show.
Diving into fall, this September is a busy one for us with travel and events for the entire team. Early this month, Frank and I travel to Boston to visit Continuum’s HQ, and as soon as we return home, we’ll all be in attendance at the annual BTA Grand Slam in NYC held this year at the Sheraton NY Times Square. Before we know it, the calendar will turn to October and we’ll be headed to Las Vegas to attend Sharp’s dealer meeting at the Wynn.
We’re also busy this month putting the final details together for our October and November issues, our most anticipated of the year as we go to press with an in-depth overview of our 34th Annual Dealer Survey once again sponsored by TIAA Bank. We are grateful to all the dealers who shared their insights and opinions and data with us and are thrilled to report we hit a milestone for participation. Many thanks go to Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, Sharp, and Toshiba for providing incentives to their dealers nationwide.
For us, the fall also holds our most anticipated night of the year, our Annual Awards & Charities Dinner sponsored this year by Hytec Dealer Services, Continuum, and PSIGEN Software. We hope you can join us on November 7th at The Madison Hotel in Morristown as we gather to raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health. Additional details about the dinner and the after-party will be announced shortly. Stay tuned for more!
See you on the road.
