It’s our favorite time of the year at The Cannata Report! We are are looking forward to taking our 34th Annual Awards & Charities Dinner to new heights this year as we celebrate the Elevation of every business across our industry. Big thanks go out to our official sponsors–Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software, and Continuum–for their ongoing support that makes it possible for us to donate all proceeds directly to Tackle Kids Cancer at Hackensack Meridian Health. We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, November 7th!
And for the women executives, we’ve made big plans for our 4th Annual Women Influencers Brunch on November 8th with our sponsors Ametek ESP, EFI, Kyocera and Supplies Network. Prior to the brunch, our story and features editor, Sharon Tosto Esker, will be hosting a special “Mindful Morning” session that combines the best of yoga and meditation. For more information, visit our website’s Women Influencers Brunch page.
Even though we’ve got lots going on at home, we’re still on the road this month! We kicked off October with a trip to Las Vegas to attend Sharp’s 2019 Dealer Meeting, our Editor-in-Chief Scott Cullen will be headed west to attend Continuum’s Navigate event in Las Vegas, and then The Cannata Report triumvirate–Frank Cannata, Scott and me–will attend PRINTING United, a show we are all looking forward to with great anticipation.
It’s not often the three of us attend a show together, but we feel this brand-new trade show is one not to be missed. To close out the month, I’ll be traveling to Japan with a select group of journalists and analysts at the invitation of Epson. There will be more to come on that in a future issue of The Cannata Report.
Look for the next episode in our Burning Questions video series exclusively sponsored by Clover Imaging Group to premiere mid-month. Watch it on our website or on YouTube (and please subscribe to our channel). And we have more video on the horizon as we are finalizing plans to launch a new series in collaboration with Continuum in November.
Our first episode features Frank Cannata and Michael George and we promise it will be a must-watch for all in the industry.
Getting back to our plans for the Cannata Dinner, I know the votes were split last year as to who is the better dancer in the Cannata family. So I will be at the center of the dance floor during the After Party–sponsored this year by NEXERA and Xerox–to once and for all settle the debate as to who can claim the Cannata dancing crown.
See you on the road.
